New to Ebenezer West or Visiting Ebenezer West for the First Time!
Planning your first visit to any church can be overwhelming. Where do I go? What is the dress code? What time does worship begin? What about my kids? What can I expect? Relax; we will do all we can to help put you and your family at ease. We want you to experience the fullness and richness of God’s grace, mercy, and fellowship, as well as be inspired by the worship music, teaching, preaching, and graciousness of the friendly people you will meet. Here are some answers to your questions, and prepare to make your first visit to the “West!”
How to Dress
There is no dress code at Ebenezer, West for guests and members. However, many of our church family members and ministry leaders dress in traditional “Sunday” dress, the men in dress shirts and dress slacks, and the women in suits and dresses. However, our goal is that you feel at home, welcome, and comfortable during your first visit to Ebenezer, West.
Worship Service Times and Bible Study
We offer several worship services at Ebenezer West. Praise & Worship begins every Sunday Morning at 9:15 a.m. Worship Service begins at 9:30 a.m. Adult Bible Study sessions are held each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the EBCW Fellowship Hall and via Zoom. The Zoom meeting link is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87266390359. Meeting ID: 872 6639 0359. Fusion Sunday classes are held each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. upstairs of the Educational Building for youth ages 5-13.
I Am Not Baptist…Can I Still Attend Ebenezer West?
Ebenezer, West is a church for people of all ages, sizes, shapes, and colors! You do not need to come from a Baptist background. The Bible is God’s true and inspired Word and is sufficient to lead all persons who are sincere to faith in the Lord Jesus the Christ. If you desire to know God, believe and trust in Him, and experience the best He has in store for your life, then we invite you to begin this wonderful, exciting journey of faith here at Ebenezer, West.
What About My Kids?
Ebenezer West is a kid-friendly and inviting church. We are very proud of our Fusion Youth Ministry here at the “West!” We offer a variety of ministry activities and mission projects for youth. Grade-appropriate Fusion classes for ages 5 to 13 years of age are held every Sunday in a fun-filled exciting learning environment tailored to meet their needs. Ebenezer West is committed to laying the foundational blocks necessary to ensure the spiritual growth of our children and youth. Children or teens do not have to be members of Ebenezer West in order to participate in the numerous activities and programs offered throughout the year.
