Brenda Bloodsaw is a loving wife, mother, daughter, and servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.
She was born and raised in New York City in the Washington Heights neighborhood in upper Manhattan. She was educated in both the public school system and parochial schools and she graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.
Although raised Catholic, on Easter Sunday of 2005 she was baptized at the historic Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem in upper Manhattan. At Abyssinian she was an active member of the Exodus Prison Ministry where they worked to help the newly released formerly incarcerated reunite with their families, reenter society and provided resources to assist them in finding homes and employment. At First Baptist when she was not working with the Cultural Committee or serving on the Visionary Usher Board she simply pitched in whenever and wherever help was needed.
Professionally she is the Finance Director at Entrée Health, a division of Omnicom Health Group, a global healthcare communications company where she has been employed for the past 15 years. She has worked in the advertising industry for over 20 years at Carat USA, Initiative Media, HN Media and Marketing and now Entrée Health while performing the delicate balancing life act of family, church, and work.
She enjoys traveling, listening to podcasts, and spending quality time with her family. Mrs. Bloodsaw is the wife of the Rev. Dr. Daryl G. Bloodsaw, and mother to Tabitha, Nia, Imani, and DJ.
