Time moves with swift transition but we who believe know that He who created time also controls time. I want to provide you with an update on life at Ebenezer. To be sure, life at Ebenezer West is moving forward with the strength and power of the Almighty. We continue to adjust and find new and interesting ways to continue to serve the Ebenezer family and learn new things in this season that will make us a much stronger and better ministry moving forward.
Updates from Pastor Bloodsaw:
Time moves with swift transition but we who believe know that He who created time also controls time. I want to provide you with an update on life at Ebenezer. To be sure, life at Ebenezer West is moving forward with the strength and power of the Almighty. We continue to adjust and find new and interesting ways to continue to serve the Ebenezer family and learn new things in this season that will make us a much stronger and better ministry moving forward.
Some important updates:
Please find the best and most expedient way to send your tithes/offerings to the church. Your contributions are the lifeline of our ministry and without your financial support the ministry screeches to a halt.
Four principal ways to give
As such, in support of the general operation of the church, effective immediately, we are temporarily suspending all Capital Stewardship Campaign efforts directing all incoming funds to the general operating account of the church. Please know that Satisfying and Paying off our mortgage remains a top priority as soon as we are back up and running. At that time, we will re-engage the Capital Stewardship Campaign through an Above & Beyond Pledge Drive in which everyone will be able to participate. By January 2022, we will retire the entire mortgage debt. Details to follow in coming weeks.
Your commitment to the ministry is critical and we thank you in advance for your continued support.
If you are having any trouble with getting your offering to the church, please call Sis. Lynn Brown at 706.338.0541 for assistance.
Beginning Monday, March 23 and continuing for the duration of this health crisis we will institute a daily prayer call from 8:00 AM to 8:15 AM. The toll-free dial-in number will be posted on the church’s home page. We are unified in and by prayer.
Bible Study will continue to take place each Wednesday at 6:00PM and at 7:00PM. The link to join the class will be on the church’s web page. Please join our digital community as we explore what “Thus sayeth the Lord.”
Please continue to adhere to and to follow Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Athens/Clarke County ordinances and curfews in this season.
Stay home
Wash hands frequently
Wash clothes that could potentially carry the virus into the home
Disinfect frequently used and touched surfaces
Avoid large gatherings
In closing, while this is a difficult time for all we must “count it all joy.” We don’t know what God is up to, but if there is one thing every true believer will attest to is that the victory already belongs to us!!! Keep the faith, my brothers and sisters…God’s got this!
God bless you and keep you and may heaven continue to smile upon you!
