“Rediscovering the JOY of Teaching” The Ebenezer West  Annual Christian Education Teacher Workshop will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 10:00 am – 1:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. All Ebenezer West Teachers, and any interested persons who desire to teach are encouraged to attend this workshop. Sis.Frankie Hill, the workshop facilitator, will help guide our teachers back into the Jesus Others You of teaching. Breakfast will be served. For more information, please contact the church office.

Attention EBCW College Students. The Returning College Students scholarship application is now available in the church office. Deadline is Aug 23, 2017. Qualifications are: (1) EBCW member, (2) sophomore or higher in college (3) minimum 2.0 GPA. Transcripts are required with the application. Any questions, see Sis. Susan Williams or smwillia@uga.edu.

Would you like to learn more about your ACCPD? Enroll in the Citizen Police Academy in which participants will learn about the important functions of law enforcement and the criminal justice system. It will start August 15th and ends November 7th, every Tuesday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. You must be a resident of, or work in Athens-Clarke County, must be at least 18 years of age, complete an application and submit to a criminal history check, must attend 10 out of the 12 class sessions to receive a Certificate of Achievement. Completed applications are due no later than 5:00pm on July 28th to the East Precinct Front Desk located at 3035 Lexington Road. Applications are available in the church office.
